Literature Text

T'was the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring in Metal Phone Mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
in hopes that the demon-cat would leave them there.

No vampires flitting or pies being flung
and even the mercenary hung up his guns.
Squiggle wrapping presents with love and caress,
Brass wondering what he'll do next.

All except one, who sat on the roof,
A young white haired girl with a gift to boot.
Without fear of the wind or the owl's eerie hoot,
Eva stayed up late to meet a jolly old coot.

The evening slumbered on and on and on.
Eva feared sleep and pushed herself to carry on.
In the end, she needed her rest,
And poor little Eva had failed the test.

But a familiar figure was keeping an eye.
Claw by claw and tooth by tooth,
The demoness Narinia made it up on the roof.
Nari questioned her mischief, to which Eva replied:

"Santa is coming, with presents in tow
I'll sit here through winter in the freezing cold snow.
I hear he grants wishes to those who've been kind,
So let's wait together, and wait for peace of mind.'

Perched at her side, all cosy and warm,
Narnia sat eagerly to wish for a new form.
In Eva's hand was a gift, a perfect little pack,
and the card on front was a grammar attack.

"Deer Santa..." It wrote, "Tis gift is for you,
a tank you fom all for the tings that you doo."
I heer you'v been giving forevah and evah,
So heers your gift for a change. Wif lov, Fom Eva."

Back in the ages of the MPM Forum I made a shabby little verion of the NIght before Christmas for MPM. This year, Maria took my version and made a few tweaks and made it more up to date and, well, good.

Hope you like it. Its only for craps and giggles. :D

Happy Holidays ^^
